House of the Dead: Overkill is campy fun, period. The presentation is very impressive for a Wii game. I had just about written off the Wii until this game came out. The graphics look good (not HD so obviously not stellar), the dialogue is hilariously bad, and the action is pretty addictive. It's a rail shooter, so the nunchuck is not needed. Aiming is pretty accurate; reloads are quick. You can calibrate everything in the options menu. As with Left 4 Dead, you have to complete each chapter before you can save. I really don't like that, but the chapters in Overkill are pretty short. This is definitely a fun, adult Wii game. You will get a chuckle at just how perverse it is. Buy House of the Dead: Overkill!
