that pretty much sums up Jimmy Hopkins in a nutshell. so his mom and stepdad drop him off at this God awful boarding school with little more than $50 in his pocket. he's pretty much left to fend for himself. he's the new kid, and the school is a total piece of crap, so pretty much he's the target of everyone's frustrations...from the school admins to even the nerdy guys. sure you can play it safe and lay low, but there really is no way to get around being...well, a bully. seeing as i never attended a sub-standard boarding school, nor was i ever a menace to my fellow pupils, i thought this game was pretty fun...and funny. Jimmy gets to beat up kids at will. most of the time he's provoked. i like the fact that you get to do random errands for other students (good or bad) to earn extra cash. let's face it, how else is Jimmy going to buy soda and clothes. i've only played a couple of days, so i haven't attended all the classes yet. music seems to be the easiest. biology is a killer. nowhere near enough time to dissect an amphibian and actually get something out of the whole experience. one thing i've ran into that i don't like is that you can't move on to other missions until you complete the present one. i haven't played long enough to unlock parts of the game that allow you to leave school grounds...hmm, or maybe you can just run away... anyways, this game is awesome. the game play is engaging and the graphics aren't half bad. i love the dialogue between the characters. they got some good actors for this and they really thought through the whole dialogue process. in other words, the interactions don't seem totally random like other games i've played. i would definitely adhere to the teen rating for this game. this isn't something you would want an elementary student to think is cool and mimick. i've read other reviews where people complained about the time spent watching loading screens, so i expected it to be a total nuisance. sure it can be annoying at times, but i really didn't think it was that bad. for the amount of detail that needs to load in this game, i didn't think it was such a bother. this game is definitely worth a buy.
