Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games

The game arrived promptly, actually before I expected it. Kudos to Amazon for the quick shipping. Worked very well after my son learned to put it in the right way round! Now we can laugh at the way they look trying to swim while standing upright! Good value. Certainly not a game to make a couch potato out of our kids.

One note of caution: At $45 for the game, you want to make sure your kids will enjoy the game before you put down money for it. I would suggest renting it locally to give it a trial for at least a couple of days first.Buy Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

lets start with the pros
-play in two different perspectives
-swing the wii mote to swing the sword and whatnot
-solve puzzles to get through(sometimes you gotta use internet breakthroughs... at least i had to)
-lots of weapons to use... though a lot of them are just upgrades(ie bombs, slingshot to arrow)
-you could actually combine your bombs with the arrows to make a bomb arrow
-hours finding heart pieces
-you can warp around, saving time from wandering through Hyrule Field
Cons:
-it wasn't as fun as i thought it would be
-the people are UGLY. They could have been drawn better. I really don't like playing games with ugly people.
-gets repetitive
- the point of your "travel" isn't clear cut really.
-you HAVE TO switch between human form and beast form... which i hated beast form.

i don't know. Maybe I just outgrew Zelda Games. i LOVED Ocarina of Time, but maybe it was because I played Ocarina of time when I was 12.

Resident Evil 4

My husband bought this game for himself, but is too scared to play it alone!! I've watched as he plays and it really doesn't look fun at all. He just walks around killing the same zombies over and over. I also hate having a game in the house my children can't be exposed to. Wii Classic Controller

The Wii classic controller is a pretty cool guy. He lets you play Virtual Console games and doesn't afraid of anything.

Also, I have this and I also have a Gamecube controller. Honestly, if you have a choice and don't mind the wire (or can get a hold of a wireless one) a Gamecube controller actually is a bit better than the classic controller (and works on the same things the classic controller does), but this is pretty good nonetheless. It's shaped a bit like like an oversized SNES controller with analog sticks. I mean, that's pretty much what it is, right? Buy Wii Classic Controller!

Wii Perfect Shot Gun

This gun performs very well yes, I use it for house of the dead. The issue though is the trigger really makes your finger sore in no time flat. I shoot real guns often for my job and never in my life has my trigger finger gotten sore like this (other parts of the hand sure). Game Party

Because this game isn't made by Nintendo, you can't use your Mii, which is kind of a drag. However, the games are still fun but they do lack the polish of a true Wii game. Still, the price is right so all in all, not a bad deal!Buy Game Party!

Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2009

I wanted a different game from the Wii Fit to vary my routine. I was excited to get Jillian Michael's Ultimatium 2009. I wish I would have read the reviews first. I just finished my first work-out. The controller response is very slow. I couldn't get the avator to move during the log roll, the tire trail or the punch bag. I just kept moving. Then after about 40 minutes, the game stalled and I couldn't get it to continue. I had to re-start it and didn't record any of the stats. I am very disappointed and wouldn't recommend this game to anyone.

I'm very happy with the product. Like all the Wii games, this is interactive and gets you off the couch and moving around unlike other console games. Super Mario Galaxy

This has been reviewed as being the best title or at least one of the very best titles for the Wii, slightly better than Zelda even. It's not. It's a passable game with no obvious flaws, like for example Mario Kart for the Game Cube. It doesn't touch Zelda Wind Waker, though, for example.

It's also a punishment game (lose your life, go back to the beginning of the level), which I don't like.Buy Super Mario Galaxy!

We Ski

I am a grandmother and a skier and I love this game. My two little granddaughters could not get enough of it. I think that there are so many amusements and challenges, with ski school lessons, included that it keeps one's interest. I don't want to say what has been already said, except that is an overall great system for families. I don't own this but I have played it many times before in various places. Super Smash Brothers Brawl is extremely fun and I wish it was on other systems. That being said, the graphics are just ok. Not good, but not as bad as some people claim. Overall, this is excellent for families and just for fun. I still like PS3 better, but this is nevertheless a good starter system.Buy Wii!

Wii Charge Station

I hate having to buy batteries over and over for the same device, so I make an effort to either get things with built-in rechargeable batteries or rechargeable battery packs for other devices. When I bought my Wii about a year ago, I also got one of these with the extra Wiimote so I wouldn't have to mess with replacing batteries. It has performed admirably.

First of all, this is a non-licensed accessory, so it might void your warranty if you use it. That said, it is a nickel-metal hydride battery, and the balance board documentation says that's the kind of rechargeable battery Nintendo prefers. If you're crazy about keeping your warranty and want to follow the manual exactly, keep buying those regular alkaline batteries. Mine is over a year old, so no warranty either way.

These batteries last forever. Our console probably averages about four to five hours a week and I try to use the same Wiimotes every time. With that usage, these will last over a month between charges. I have friends who got the Energizer pack, and these last appreciably longer.

As others have said, it doesn't fit into the Wii Zapper if you have the back on. To those, I say there is a simple solution: take the back cover off. Fits just fine in the Zapper and you can put the cover right back on when you take it out. More than worth it for the crazy battery life and good grip even without the silicone sheath.

It can take a little work to get the connections lined up in the cradle, but once you get used to it, it's pretty easy. You just have to get the wrist strap out of the way.

Like most good chargers, when the battery has been fully charged, the unit doesn't try to charge it further. If you just leave it on the charging station for a month or two, it's not actually pulling any charge since the cradle stopped charging it when it got to 100%. In fact, constantly charging it back to 100% after only using a small amount can decrease performance. Just leave it on the station until the LED turns to green, then take it off.

I ended up buying a second unit when I got two more Wiimotes. That one actually had a bad cradle that would report every battery as fully charged no matter what. I returned it, and the replacement has worked as well as the first.

FYI: If you're planning on getting four Wiimotes and are thinking about getting this, you might as well just get the Wii Charge Station Quad that charges four at a time.

Wii Music

This is an ok game, but far from similar games such as Rockband or Guitar Hero. Got it for my kids, and they like it, but it lacks the competition, the songs, and the excitement that makes those games so great. There are similarities, such as the "bell" game, but that's where things stop, at least from what I have seen.

I think songs like "My Grandfather's Clock" are great, and they're a great teaching tool for kids, but there is more excitement knowing the songs you are playing and none of my kids know these songs.Buy Wii Music!

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

I'm going to give this 5 stars based on how much my son enjoys it. He loves all things Star Wars, and asks to play this game 24/7. It's become his threat (if you don't comply, no Star Wars lego today) and his reward. He would sit and play this all the time if I let him, and when he's not playing, he talks about it. I do limit him to 30 minutes a day, but that is enough time to play and get some plot in. He loves changing characters as he's playing and mixing up the characters from the different movies to play together. You do kill things with weapons, but there's no blood and guts, the legos just disassemble, so it is kid appropriate there, but it is a little violent in that you shoot at things to kill them. Official Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training

The Wii Zapper was a great purchase. I can never find it in the stores but knew Amazon had it. We bought my son 007 Quantum of Solace but had to buy a cheaper version of the Zapper. It was OK but was difficult to use so we decided to get him the real thing after we bought Paintball. The only problem with the Zapper is the Wii remote does not fit correctly if you have the rechargeable battery in. It still can be used but isn't locked in place. My son also loves the Link's Crossbow Training game that came with it. I would recommend purchasing the Zapper for your shooting games. Buy Official Wii Zapper with Link's Crossbow Training!
