This dance pad is much better than the one that comes with Konami's DDR : Hottest Party game. There is a 1-inch thick foam insert that makes it so much easier on your knees and the arches of your feet. Also, the sensors underneath the arrows are much more responsive so you don't have to be directly in the center of the arrow for it to register with the game. You can disassemble the pad for easier transport. The foam insert fits together like jigsaw pieces. You don't have to slide the foam pieces in, the zipper goes all the way around so you can open the cover, place the foam pieces in and then zip up.
