The function on this controller is great. I have had ZERO problems with it. I bought it to use on my Nintendo Wii to download some Virtual Console games. I used it to play "Metroid" from the original 8-bit Nintendo system and it worked as well as I remember the wired controller working 20 years ago. The only thing you need to worry about is sometimes when the action gets tough you might accidentally hit the "map button" feature.
